INTRODUCTION

As can be seen from the Genealogy section of this site, information about my family is rather scant. Other than my immediate family, two uncles and an aunt, I have not been in contact with any other relative still living. Since joining the net I've thus become concerned with discovering more about my family ties. The "search" facilities on the net are wonderful for this sort of thing, though limited in their own way. homage

And though I'm mainly trying to relocate lost or distant relatives from both sides of the family tree, it's amazing the things that I've turned up by searching for entries to the words "Starrex" and "Starex" - words which I would have thought would be as unusual and rare as any in existence. Some of the following entries are related to known family members (including myself). Others must be pure coincidence. But, for these latter entries HOW did the name arise? Here's something I got back from starrex.com:

'Thanks for the inquiry on the name. Sorry but you have no relatives at this company. The name was randomly generated by a simple computer program. We liked it and decided to keep it. Sincerely, Lee Solaroli, President'
