BACKGROUND TO THESE DISCUSSION BOOKLETSThese booklets have been produced for use in Home Church Groups in our Riverwood-Punchbowl Parish ie for groups of up to 10 or 12 people who meet weekly to share and support each other in their Christian lives, to pray for each other, and to learn more of God through reading and discussing a passage from the Bible, using these booklets.
The Discussion Booklets follow the Sunday talks (sermons) which most members will hear in the week preceding the Home Chuch Group meeting. The general approach used in the Booklets is to provide questions which will help people understand the meaning of the passage and help them in applying God's word to their own lives. Members are encouraged to come to the group having already thought about the questions. Discussions are generally limited to less than an hour.
The booklets may be freely downloaded and used by anyone who is interested in doing so, for personal or group Bible study. If you are from another church and use them, we would appreciate you letting us know - send us an email , or go to the 'Contact Us ' page to find our address and phone number. If you modify the booklets in any way for use in your own group, you should make this clear in writing in any material you produce.
The printed booklets are usually in A5 booklet style. If you would like the original file (some are in WordPerfect format, others in Word format), please email your request . We expect to add further Booklets over time, both those used previously, and those which we prepare in future.
