Can we help you?
Are you looking for friendship or social activities? Then you could join one of our several social/activity clubs. There is probably a group suitable for you, whatever your age or interests. All our groups are keen to have new members. Click on these links to find out more about some of our groups:
Upper Room Club - social activities, interesting outings, guest speakers; most members are 'Retired'. Lunch and Leisure Club - a club for people who have suffered mental illness - weekly lunch, activities and sport/outings. Kids Plus - after school fun for infants/primary age children.
Are you looking to form lasting friendships and meaningful Christian relationships? The best way is to join a Home Church Group. These groups have up to 12 people who meet regularly to share in Bible study, prayer and friendship. Members 'look after' each other in many ways outside the actual meetings. Members usually become close friends. Most groups have social activities, and all groups actively seek new members. Most group members are involved in other "Riverwood-Punchbowl" things, but some have no other involvement with St Andrew's, St Matthew's or St Saviour's. Either way, you are welcome! Click here to find out more, or contact us to find a suitable group.
Do you need help coping with illness or life generally?
We can pray with you. God cares about you: "Cast all your cares upon Him, for he cares about you." (1 Peter 5:7). Contact the Pastoral Worker at the church office. Or hand in a prayer request form (found in the back of the church seats). There is a 'prayer chain' of some 13 people who are ready to pray with you and for you. Or, make your needs known to a leader at or after the Sunday service. We can help in practical ways, such as help with the shopping or meals during illnesses, or help in dealing with government agencies, telstra, power etc. We can get you into a group of caring Christians. Joining one of our groups is often the best way by which you can be helped, and in turn help others. We provide counselling both personal and relationship counselling, by a trained and supervised counsellor. For more details, click here .
Do you want to know more about Jesus?
(or perhaps Whether God is really there? or What happens after death?)We constantly run short courses to help people understand Christianity and its central figure, Jesus. There is no pressure put on you; you are not asked any questions (but you can ask as many as you like). You can do the course as an individual or in a small group, at a time to suit you. For more details, or to arrange a course, contact the church office .
Do you want help in living the Christian life?
Perhaps you already know Jesus as your saviour, but you are uncertain about what it means for your day to day life. Perhaps you just seek encouragement in your Christian living.
We run a series of individual or small group discussions about how to live as a Christian. Contact the church office for details.
One of the best ways to really find out about living out Christianity is to join a Home Church Group . There you will become friends with other people seeking to know God and his world, and striving to live the way he wants us to. Here you will not only 'learn about' Christianity, but you will join in 'living it', as we encourage each other.
At every Sunday church service there is a talk which will explain something about God and the Christian life. If you come to these services regularly, expecting to grow closer to God, and become more like Jesus, you will benefit greatly.
Do you want to understand the Christian faith in more depth?
Most years, we run a series of in-depth classes on the Bible or Christian beliefs. These classes normally run for about 12 weeks. They will help you to think about your faith more clearly. This in turn will help you to live more the way God wants you to. It will help you to worship God in "Spirit and Truth" (John 4:24).

Do you want to worship God with a community of believers who love Jesus?
Each Sunday the people of St Andrew's gather together in one of three congregations .
If you are looking for the reverence and beauty of worship in the traditional Anglican way, with organ music and inspiring items by the choir, then come at 8:30am. If you are looking to praise our Lord in a more contemporary and informal style, in a setting where children of all ages are welcome and catered for, then come along at 10:00am. If you are looking for a smaller congregation of adults/ young adults, with a more participatory style, without children, then come to Sunday evening church. St Matthew's Beverly Hills North
