4. PUNISHMENT- The penalty for abusing life is death
Ezekiel 18:4
For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son - both alike belong to me. The soul who sins is the one who will die.
Romans 1:29-32
They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practise them.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 John 3:15
Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.
