A Christian Version of GREEN EGGS & HAM

According to some sources, the Dr Seuss book "Green Eggs and Ham" was (or is) the fourth best selling children's hardcover book of all time, outranking even the Harry Potter books, and Dr Seuss' "The Cat in the Hat" is not far behind.

"Green Eggs and Ham" is about a character called Sam-I-Am, who pesters a reluctant person to try eating green eggs and ham.
This fellow repeatedly insists that he doesn't like them, and several refusals are made before he eventually finds he does like them.
It strikes me that this is similar to the unexpected nature of the Gospel to people who've never understood it.

Below is a Dr Seuss inspired short story I wrote as a Christian version of "Green Eggs and Ham" (but this probably wouldn't be understood by little kids).
I've only done 10 pages, but "Green Eggs and Ham" actually has about 60 pages.

Short Story: GOD AS A MAN instead of GREEN EGGS & HAM

It's interesting to notice that all the letters in the name "Seuss" are contained in "Jesus".

I don't think Dr Seuss was a real doctor (his father had unfulfilled hopes he would earn a doctorate at Oxford), but Jesus did say that it is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick (Matthew 9:12).

"Green Eggs and Ham" turns a grumpy fellow into a happy fellow, and this can also be the result when sin is taken away.
