NWA is a non profit organisation made up of people who enjoy wargaming.
NWA meets fortnightly
at two venues in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne Australia.
Many different types of Wargames are played at NWA including Napoleonic,
Ancients, Warhammer, American Civil War and
World War II.
This site is dedicated to WW II played at NWA.
WW II games at NWA are played with a number of different rules. Currently the most popular are World War II Book of Armaments
which was developed by club members and
Crossfire.
Games are played with 1/72,1/76 and 1/300 scale figures on boards of 6ft(2m) x 4ft(1.3m) to 18ft(6m) x 12ft(4m)
Games played range from small scale skirmishes involving a couple of platoons of infantry to large scale battalion and
regimental level games involving large amounts of armor and infantry.
All fronts and era's are played including
1940 France
1941 North Africa, Russia
1942 North Africa, Russia, Pacific
1943 Italy, Russia
1944 France, Poland, Rumania
1945 Germany , Italy
and many more
