OUTCOME: Despite a resident’s address about a lack of precise detail Council has agreed in principle to remediate the upper tier of this closed land fill and landscape it to accommodate two sport fields and an open area for off-leash dog walking and the proposed car parking area will moved further south.

Greens Councillor Murray Matson said,

“I think that this is reasonable as residents can comment on specific issues during the public exhibition period for the Development Application that Council will submit to itself. I favor using the off-leash dog walking area as a buffer between the nearest dwellings and the sport fields.”
