Item 12.2 Clean Up Australia Day Activities at Little Congwong Beach

OUTCOME: Greens Councilor Murray Matson backed local residents by successfully moving that Council write to the Cleanup Australia Day organisers stating our preference that the cleanup of Little Congwong beach should be organised and carried out by a local residents.

He said,

“I believe that this is only fair as the La Perouse Precinct Committee has organized the clean up there for the last 15 years except for last year when it was taken over by a nudist group.”
