Greens Support Interest Free Loan to Coogee Surf Club
Randwick
City Council has voted to advance the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club
$89,000 as an interest free loan to complete upgrades to it's Club
building.
Greens Deputy Mayor Murray Matson stated on Friday
that the Greens supported the loan to the Club.
He
stated,
“Council should waive the interest repayments
considering the selfless volunteer work performed by the Club members
in protecting swimmers every summer at Coogee Beach.”
